As Easter gets closer, it can be hard to find activities that are both fun and educational for our kids. Some Easter activities for kids take a long time to prepare or may make a lot of mess!
We get stuck wondering things like, “How can we make fun educational activities for Easter?” or “What are some easy-to-prepare Easter activities for the kids?”
When you're unsure what to do, it's hard to move forward.
The good news is, you can easily bring order to this chaos by using our free Easter Egg hunt and BINGO printables! You can even choose between English or Chinese. Our solution will help improve your Easter celebrations and best of all, educational!
My kids love Easter egg hunts! They get excited when they find an egg. I used this game to help them learn new words related to Easter. Inside each egg was a BINGO card with a word on it. We also played BINGO afterwards and the winner won a big Easter egg! The kids had so much fun, they asked to do it again this year!

Instructions:
1. Download
Download the Easter BINGO cards & BINGO printable. Select your preferred language.
2. Open
Open the files with Adobe PDF Reader. You can download it for free.
3. Print
Select the difficulty you decide on for the players: Beginner and Advanced.
The difficulty of the reading material depends on your kids' level of reading.
For example, if you select the English version, you can choose the beginner version for younger kids and the advanced version for older kids.
Select which pages you would want to print according to the difficulty level and the version you decided to use for your child.
You can print the file by clicking on the “Printer” icon after opening it in Adobe PDF Reader.
For the Easter BINGO cards printable, make sure it is in landscape mode.
For the BINGO printable, make sure it is in portrait mode. Choose “Fit” from the page sizing & handling session.
4. Cut
You can use a paper trimmer, an Exacto knife, or scissors for cutting.
For the BINGO cards printable, cut along the grey dotted lines of the cards.
5. Insert
If there are kids with different difficulties, it is a good idea to buy two sets of eggs. This way they can only pick their own set of eggs in their baskets.
For example, you can select pink eggs for beginners and blue eggs for advanced children. The beginners will only get pink eggs and will not touch the blue eggs. The advanced children will only get the blue eggs and will not touch the pink eggs.
Fold each BINGO card and place each card into a plastic egg. To increase the fun, you can also put a mini chocolate egg/ jelly bean inside the plastic egg.
6. Hide
Hide the plastic eggs around the location where the Easter hunt takes place. Prepare each basket for each child.
7. Display
Prepare the BINGO printables and also BINGO pieces (jellybeans, mini chocolate eggs, etc) for your children and the big prize by putting them on the table.
You are ready to present the game!
Playing the Easter Activities for Kids
It's time to explain the game to the kids! Get their attention – it's important.
Easter Egg Hunt
Explain to the kids that all the Easter eggs are hidden and it's their job to find them!
Once they found an egg, they will have to place them inside their basket. Please do not open the eggs yet.
Easter BINGO
Once the kids found all the Easter eggs and placed them in their own baskets, the kids can sit in front of their assigned BINGO sheets.
Group the kids according to their difficulties.
For example, if you have two younger kids and three older kids who are better at reading, put the younger kids in one group and the older kids in another group.
Each child will take turns opening their eggs and reading the word inside. They will then look for this word on their BINGO card to see if it matches any of the words. If yes, they mark it with a jelly bean or chocolate egg.
Celebrate
The first one to get a line of four words on their BINGO card wins the grand prize! This can be a giant Easter egg, toy, or anything that you decide!
Note: Feel free to modify the content as needed. I hope this helps! 🙂
It may sound like a lot since it includes 2 activities instead of one, but it's definitely worth the effort for your family and friends to enjoy this educational Easter activity!
