Ever since I was a child, I always love to listen to the story of the 12 Zodiac animals. There was even an anime called Fruits Basket I loved when I was a teen. It is a popular anime series that talks about how a family household was cursed with the Chinese Zodiac which turns them into a zodiac animal when they were hugged by someone of the opposite sex.
After becoming a parent, I find myself retelling the Zodiac stories to my kids more frequently. They seem to really enjoy it! When my daughter was 3 years old, she memorized everyone's zodiac signs in our family and extended family. It's amusing because she'll suddenly blurt out what sign each person is, which then often gives away that person's age.
